We are a mother/Susan and daughter/Whitney team focused on and passionate about customer service, quality, unique products and a love for entertaining!

Blis started as a brick and mortar store in Uptown Charlotte in 2004, but as COVID-19 presented new challenges to the retail market and our business model, we jumped at the opportunity to pivot and adjust from our physical Uptown presence to a new and exciting virtual gifting experience. Our latest pivot has been joining forces with Lauren Fisher of The Little Red Shop and opening The Social Shop (will link to the social shop website when available) in late September 2021 in Strawberry Hill. We wanted a store that offered gifting and clothing, a one-stop-shop that felt approachable to anyone, no matter their age or background. And of course, a place where we could feature and partner with other locally owned businesses. Plus, you can find us regularly participating in a variety of pop-up shopping events each and every month in the Charlotte area.
